struggling to reconcile the desire for growth without sacrificing the quality or passion, the mess was founded by local artist and organizer, caroline litteken. by joining forces with other local artists, distributors, producers and audio engineers, the mess is able to satiate the desire for the access of big labels while maintaining a standard of equity, access and creativity.
